Groups Sessions
Groups sessions are designed to educate foster care and placement family caregivers about trauma informed care to help in avoiding placement disruption, children’s grief, and loss issues from removal.
Certificate of participation available credit
towards annual foster care hours.
Individual and group education sessions or therapy is designed to assist foster care and relative placement caregivers to better assist children in their care. The sessions will focus on avoiding issues that causes additional trauma to children or to other children in the home, preventing placement disruption (voluntary or involuntary), and understanding trauma informed care and sessions to help in preparation for separation and TPR planning.

CHINS Legal & Trauma Informed
Four-day sessions to assist parents in learning and understanding the CHINS (Child in Need of Services) legal process and learn the effects of childhood trauma, trauma and childhood development, and behavior management and building positive relationships.
Community Engagement
Community agencies are invited to share and discuss their agency's services with the participates.
Victim & Child Sessions
Sessions are designed for those exposed to or victimized by Abuse and Trauma. Participants will learn the different types of abuse and the effects on adult and child. Each participant will develop a safety plan and learn how to become an effective self-advocate while regaining strength, confidence, and self-esteem. Provides therapy and case management to assist participants in achieving goals towards a stable, safe, and healthy environment. The child will learn about coping skills, address trauma associated with domestic violent, learn about safety precautions, and will develop a safety plan.
